What does a first session look like?

Laying a strong foundation for therapy begins with gathering information. The early sessions are focused on developing a detailed picture of what is going on for you and the history of the problem. This process is directed by what pace feels right for you.

What is my Fee? Do I take insurance?

I am private pay only and do not take insurance. I can provide a superbill for my services and you can explore if your insurance company has any reimbursement for out-of-network therapy. My fee is $160.00 for a 50-minute session, $200.00 for a 60-minute and $245.00 for a 75-minute session. I do offer sliding scale when it is available, please contact me for a consultation.

Have I been to therapy?

Yes! My passion for therapy arose out of the life changing experience of having a therapist to journey with me. Therapy has drastically improved the quality of my life and I will be forever grateful for it.

You have the option of choosing between a 50, 60 or 75 minute session length. The frequency of sessions depends on your needs, however, the standard of care is once a week. I recommend 60 or 75 mutes for couples. I recommend 50 or 60 minutes for individual sessions.
